Heaton Mersey premises
The public is allowed into Capes Dunn.
Please report to reception on arrival and, before entering the building, use hand sanitiser provided.
We will be resuming our regular auction viewing times & room bidding. This will be by appointment only.
Please ring the office or email if you wish to view the sales or be in the room when the auctions are live. Please book early to avoid disappointment as we have a maximum capacity on all of our salerooms.
Please continue to wear masks, socially distance and use the hand sanitiser stations provided.
Lytham premises
The Lytham office is now back open to the public.
Collections
We will be continuing to use the pre-booking system for the collection of won lots.

Goods will be handed over on a no-contact basis in the car park to the rear of the building – if the lot is large and/or heavy, ensure you have adequate help with you for loading into your vehicle.
Also, there will be no packaging available so make sure you bring your own materials.
On arrival in the car park, please first come to the front office, if you haven't been advised otherwise.
These restrictions are relevant to couriers, ensure that you advise your chosen agent of our procedures.
We encourage ALL invoices to be settled prior to arrival to minimise contact with staff but we will be able to process your payments in saleroom.
Invoices can be settled via bank transfer or over the telephone with a UK registered debit card for transactions up to £500.
Valuations Days
These will be on a strict appointment booking system and timed slots (please note a maximum of 8 items per slot).
If you turn up to the office without an appointment you will be turned away.

Inheritance tax and auction valuations
Our valuer will continue to visit properties, following the government guidelines.
Please note, however, that if any member of the household is displaying symptoms, or has been told to isolate, please inform us immediately and we will re-arrange the appointment for a later date.
Transport Service
Our transport team are still able to visit properties following strict guidelines for home removals only.
To keep contact to a minimum, please pack as much as possible in advance – noting the item numbers on each box.
Again, if any member of the household is displaying symptoms, or has been told to isolate, please inform us immediately and we will re-arrange the appointment for a later date.
